The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed
The latest chapter ended with a dramatic pause and revealed the premier party of characters who will split off from the central cast to undertake their separate journey, apart from the additional parties.
The combat-focused team consists of Teor (played by Travis), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).
The Reason for Division
Considering a large ensemble, it was obvious from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.
This explains, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, weaving together the personal journeys before dividing into three separate parties: Soldiers, Planners, and Seekers.
The Nature of the Warrior Group
As described by the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who prefer a classically intense combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where diplomatic options are rare.
At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might seem out of place, but the actions of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the warrior group.
Motivations for Departure
First, the team knows exactly where to proceed after a brutal opening clash with the enemy group.
A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death kicked off the campaign’s events—used the enemy for his selfish purposes, invading Thjazi’s hideout, striking Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.
Casimir then cleared his debts and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, above the urban center, with Cyd close behind.
Character Drivers
Moreover, each character has a personal reason to depart Dol-Makjar:
- The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, wants revenge.
- Kattigan has experience in the region and warns that it is a hostile location.
- The strong character and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill the fighter and instead rescued him, have no other options.
- However, their reputation as key figures in House Halovar could assist the team reach locations they usually can’t.
- Moreover, The grateful character vowed a eternal obligation to Wicander for his salvation and will now follow him anywhere.
Pursued by Authorities
Lastly, all of them are wanted by the authorities that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making remaining behind too risky:
- The agile adventurer and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
- Tyranny and The healer betrayed the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.

This leaves them little choice but to travel to Timmony in search of Casimir.
